We are recruiting for a new role – Head of Beginners Chess. Your role would be to promote chess to a whole new generation of adult beginner players. How you do this would be up to you but some ideas include:
– Running tournaments within board game cafes and other casual venues within the community
– Running open online events targeted at new players
– Running 1-day coaching sessions targeted at new players
– Running chess tournaments only open to beginner players
– Advocate for new players within Shropshire Chess
