Newport Chess Club is inviting all Shropshire players to enter their summer blitz events. We are a friendly women’s and girl’s social chess club. All abilities welcome. We are currently teaching women who have never played chess before.  We meet every other week on Tuesdays at 7pm at The Unison Club near the Shirehall. There is a brand new Chess Club here at the Unison Club, on Tuesday evenings at 18.00 hrs, for those who wish to concentrate on chess, and how to play it. Some chess players wish for an environment where they have no distractions. The club is quiet at 18.00 in the chess rooms. The bar is
