New FIDE Rapidplay Rule
FIDE have published the new rules of chess applicable from January 2023 including one change to the FIDE rapidplay rules. Maddocks vs Newport – on the radio!
Last Friday Chris Lewis and Tony Preece went head-to-head in a quiz as well as discussing the Hans Niemann cheating allegations on BBC radio Shropshire. Their encounter starts at 3:09 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0cypsr2 The winner of that encounter will be a contestant on the radio again this coming Friday starting just after 9am.
