I would like to invite you all to a summer open individual. This will be a 7 round swiss tournament played over-the-board once a week. A new round will be drawn each week and I welcome you to play your matches on either Mondays or Thursdays at:
The Limes Hotel,
2 Vineyard Drive,
Wellington,
Telford, TF1 1SE
Time Control: 1 hour 25 minutes + 10 seconds increment.
Match start time: 7.30pm
Entry Fee £5.
Prizes:1st £50, 2nd £30, 2 Grading Prizes – £30 each
Games will be ECF rated.
I am planning to draw the first round on Monday 5th July (if the government lifts social distancing restrictions).
In the event of a tie for first place there will be a tie break of two 45 minute + 10sec increment games held on the same night.
